A MESSAGE FROM BILL CROWDIS- PRESIDENT, LTD SPORTS INC. – DIRECTOR, ABA-CANADA

There have been many attempts to bring professional basketball to Canada over the years with efforts falling short of any actual domestic development. In order to continue Canada’s success in basketball there needs to be a place where Canadian basketball players can continue to train and compete beyond their college/university careers. While this platform of competition is important, the true value will be its use as a long term developmental tool for future athletes in the sport.

We feel that the time is now, to create a TRUE domestic basketball league that focuses on the development of Canadian players, coaches, officials and administrators. ABA-Canada will work towards developing a unified organization of the basketball community while maintaining a social responsibility to those in need in our society.
