A MESSAGE FROM JOE NEWMAN – CEO, AMERICAN BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION

To the People of Canada:

We are very excited to have ABA-Canada as part of the American Basketball Association (ABA). We have long felt that Canada’s history, contributions and quality of basketball has been long under appreciated. Under the leadership of Bill Crowdis, Director of ABA-Canada, we hope to be able to help Canadian basketball maximize its potential.

The world of professional basketball is about to change; the ABA will be on the cutting edge. And of course, ABA-Canada will be a big part of that. I know that our US-based teams are very excited about our expansion into Canada and are looking forward to competing with the ABA-Canada teams at home and away.
